David's Bridal Bridesmaid Dresses

Various Bridesmaid dresses that I like from David's Bridal:

In Watermelon

In Candy Pink

In Rose Petal

In Azalea

In Mermaid

In Cornflower

In Oasis
I LOVE that rhinestone brooch!!

In Pool

In Blue Velvet

I've been to two green themed weddings and two purple themed weddings.
Neither of those are for me.
However this purple combo is really pretty:

Purple

I never ever dreamed of having my girls be in anything other than a solid color. Well maybe a combination of like two solid colors...But definitely not a print.
Well, I must admit, that these floral dresses are growing on me a bit:

Floral

And here is another pattern that I like:

In Watermelon

Is it alright if I am not the only one in white? I think in this case it might be because it is not solid white...And she would be in my bridal party. If some guest showed up in sold white, we would probably have some issues...

Of course now I think the only issue I am having is, how to pick a color! Look at all of the gorgeous colors I picked in the previous post and in this post!! I veered away from only picking pinks, to try to give myself different ideas. But now I love them all!
How is a girl to choose?!

Alfred Angelo Bridesmaid Dresses

I had always assumed my girls would be in long formal dresses.
But just like my original wedding vision for everything else, my vision is yet again changing...And this change means that I might consider my girls having cocktail length dresses.

Some ideas:

Alfred Angelo - Fuchsia

Alfred Angelo - In Espresso w/light pink sash

Alfred Angelo - In Wine

I made these on Alfred Angelo's "Create Your Look" Section:

In Lipstick

In Cobalt

In Tealness

In Berry

In Pink Sorbet

Wilton Wedding Fun!

I am not sure what I am addicted to more...Weddings or Wilton!

Practically every cupcake and cookie from my previous post came from wilton.com

One of the many great things about Wilton's website, is they give step-by-step directions with their wonderful creations.

Here are a ton more of fun Wilton wedding desserts:

Wedding Cupcakes and Cookies

Another wedding trend, as of late, is wedding cupcakes.
Lately I was considering the idea.
However I would NOT be doing wedding cupcakes in lieu of a wedding cake...It would be in addition to.

I came up with the idea after a lot of people have asked me if I will be making my own wedding cake.
While I am capable of doing so, I fear that I will be too stressed, nervous, and busy from all of the other wedding planning details, to be able to make my own wedding cake.
So I was thinking maybe I can make some elegant cupcakes to put out in addition to a wedding cake.

Another big trend has been candy bars...
And then of course the ever popular Italian pastries and desserts and such.

So maybe I will buy a wedding cake and make my own additional cupcakes and desserts. Just a thought.

Here are some cute cupcakes I have come across:

Chocolate Wedding Cake

I think about the only definite wedding decision that Jon and I have made is about our wedding cake flavor.
We have 100% agreed on having a chocolate wedding cake.
(Granted we haven't been to any cake tastings yet, so we might still have to decide on a particular variety of chocolate flavored cake.)

It's just that we have been to so many weddings where the cake might have looked nice, but sure did not taste nice!
It's not even that we are chocolate people and the cake was vanilla so we didn't care for it...I mean, I am a hardcore cake baker...I have eaten my share of cakes that weren't always my favorite flavor.
But for some reason, I just have yet to attend a wedding with a cake that I enjoy.

Anyway, Jon and I have yet to decide if we will go semi-traditional with the cake frosted white...Or continue our non-traditional cake route with chocolate or colored frosting.
ALSO, if brown is in our color scheme, then having a chocolate colored cake would fit the theme, AND taste of yummy chocolate! :)

I just came across this cake and thought it was neat looking:

More Random Fun...

I just found some more of the photographs that I lost in yesterday's posts...
